Dan Klausner - Carmel, IN

A resident of Carmel, Indiana, Dan Klausner serves as managing member of Silver Birch Companies, through which he has acquired and developed more than 1 million square feet of real estate. He was also heavily involved in the redevelopment of Gable Village. In addition to his pursuits in the real estate sector, Dan Klausner provides funding and consulting services to private businesses and is the co-owner of Carmel Total Fitness. His other business affiliations include Maaguzi, Creditsights, and Government Payment Services.

Prior to focusing solely on business and real estate endeavors, Dan Klausner was a Wall Street executive who facilitated structured transaction issuance, initial public offerings, and multinational insurance company mergers. While working with Prudential Securities earlier in his career, he earned distinction as the firm's top fixed-income sales representative worldwide.

Mr. Klausner holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Indiana University, where he was an Arthur R. Metz Scholar and 1983 Sigma Alpha Mu Scholar of the Year. He continues to support the school through a family scholarship fund and has also helped establish both the Chung Do Kwan Foundation and the Daisy Baker Zaft Children's Library Fund.
